  1. Interesting take on the stand with the lights and candles, I'm assuming they're mini lights?

The lightbulbs look like old school, where does one get those?

The lights are vintage edison light bulbs, and votive candles. Got them off Amazon. I was going for a rustic vintage look for the night stand.

  2. I have finally decided, within the next month, I will be purchasing a new HVLP system, the Fuji Mini Mite 3 Platinum 2903-T70.

If anyone has had any experience with this model or brand in general, I would appreciate any thoughts or advice, or if you guys would recommend another sprayer. This one runs for $620.00 on Amazon. My next big tool purchase will be a JET lathe, someday next year hopefully.

Definitely in line with WigWag. In my case I'm saving for the Earlex or the Fuji Semi-Pro units that operate with their own incorporated turbine for power. A little more expensive 299-400 but certainly well made machines.

Now I am stuck on which one to get. It is only 100 more dollars for the Fuji. From first glance, the Earlex looks cheap in quality. I think I am leaning towards the Fuji, but they both have great reviews.

  5. I have my own small woodworking business, just myself.. I mostly build furniture and I am starting to get a little into cabinets. I want to upgrade my finishing to a HVLP sprayer, instead of just by hand. I have an average of 1 project a month. I don't really have a lot of money for a big top of the line unit. That being said, I do want a quality sprayer. I was looking at some of the handheld ones, or should I settle for a big unit. I appreciate any recommendations. Thank you very much. My budget is under $400.00 MAX.

  6. I got it fixed. I was given this bandsaw, and I have no idea what the specs are. Rockwell/Delta. By Rockwell manuf. company. Serial # 28-113 and Serial # GA 7930

  7. I was cutting with my bandsaw. 6fe524dd3810a93b58762726c354af5c.jpgI decided to spray some Bostik GlideCote on the blade to reduce friction of the blade and wood, which I regret now, and now my blade won't stay on the "wheels" and the blade keeps popping off. How do I make the blade not slippery? Any suggestions? And the blade I'm using has to be specially ordered, so I can't go get another one at HD.

  8. Is there a breather that you can see on the crankcase? It can be incorporated with the oil cap with maybe a foam/mesh piece to keep the oil from spraying out, make sure it can actually breathe

I figured it out. I realized I was using to wrong piece for the oil cap. Works fine now. Thanks Everyone!

  9. Notice that James post is nearly a page long? lol. Anyways, I am glad to hear that you got it going, and I can't wait to hear your opinion of your new compressor.

So, I have been using the Rolair for a fee days now. Love it. BUT, almost everytime I have turned it on, right before it reaches max capacity and shuts off, the oil cap pops off, and oil sprays out a little. Why is this happening? Should I just tape it down?

  10. Nice little compressor you got there Taylor, I kind of like the green. I don't like the fact that it didn't come with its own quick connect coupler. OK, you can find these at any auto parts store. What you want is a quick connect coupler that uses 1/4 NPT threads.

Before you install it, make sure you wrap teflon tape 3 times onto the threads, then install it. Using a wrench tighten it onto the compressor, but be careful to not overtighten it or you will strip the threads. The job of the teflon tape is to prevent you from having to tighten it down too much.

Got a coupler, turned it on. Works Good. I'll have to put it to the real test later this week... :)

  11. Make sure you take pictures of your new compressor for the crew, as a thankyou for all the help the crew provided you in picking one out.

Also, do you know why they call is Bosstich? Because the boss had an itch at the time he was thinking up a name for his new brand. After he scratched his itch and fished his wish, the company became Bosstich. [emoji6]

Photos Above. Thanks to Everyone who has helped me with my decision.

  13. nothing wrong with those but if you have some hds in your area it would be worth your time to look

I do. I was in there earlier today, but they didn't have the Husky Silent Flow. I'm going to double check on the dewalt and porter cable one tomorrow though...
