I have one. I recently upgraded to it from my old craftsman sliding miter saw. I am 18, and have my own woodworking business. I have had the Bosch Saw for about 5 months now. I love it. I put it on a movable rolling table I made, and I just roll it around the shop. It is very sturdy and I know it will last forever with care. It is a great investment. I have no complaints. The dust collection is great with a shop vac connected, you won't have to spend any time. It catches 95% of dust. If you just have the bag, their will be dust after you have finished your job on the floor, but catches about 80% of it.

I like taylor's better lol!
That frame looks excellent, the bed looks comfy enough I would even use it. What finish did you use on this? What type of joinery did you use at each corner?
Thanks for sharing yourself!
I torched the wood. I put a Golden Oak Watco Stain, and did a final finish of Lemon Oil. The Back pieces are pocket holed together. The corners are screwed in from the sides, then covered up.

I meant an add on unit that would bypass the factory regulator

I didn't look into anything like that. I just ordered the part.

Did you price a separate regulator? I have had this compressor for 10 years now and it still works fine. Very loud though

The Price of the regulator is $36.48 including shipping.

I am going to order the part. I need a working air compressor ASAP. Hopefully it all works out.

No returns, did you mention this because you are worried the part wont fit?
Yes I did. I am not sure how reliable this place is. Its the only place I can get the part though.

I bought the new Ryobi Jig Saw earlier this week too, and bought the bosch blades, since thats all they had. Mine blades fit just fine. Just make sure to turn the quick blade release...

My Husky 3 Gal air compressor broke today, at the worst time too. It still fills with air, but the turning knob, to select amount of air you want, is stripped. I took of the knob cover, and the screw underneath is stripped. It just keeps turning and nothing happens. I bought the air compressor over 3 years ago at Home Depot. They shortly discontinued the compressor about 6 months after I bought it. Would it be possible to fix it, or is it time to buy a new Air Compressor? Any Air Compressor Recommendations? I am a woodworker. I mostly just use a nail gun with it.

The ends won't slide out, though you think they should. There are metal pins connected to springs between the ends and middle piece of wood that prevent the pieces from sliding.

Oh, I saw it. I was looking into the other model: MRC23EVSK
I wish it went down in price.

The Bosch just dropped $30! Down from $219 to $189. Looks like I'll be getting one of those too!

What website or store?

I have my own garage shop currently building furniture, but have always been interested in turning. I have never used a lathe. I was looking at the Jet lathes. What size should I get? Eventually, I would want to use it for legs for furniture. My Questions:
What lathe should I start out with? (Brands, Size)
Good wood turning tools?
Uses?
An info about lathes would help. Thank You.

Cool, that's what I like to hear I just got a setup from home depot when they had it on sale for the special buy of the day, it's an earlax 4500, got it on sale for $180.
I've seen this advertised quite a bit. Is it good quality? Do you like it?

Compressor Update...

Hi Everyone, so I recieved my air regulator for my compressor today. I started to try and take it off, but one of the nuts connecting the air line to the regulator is stripped. It won't turn at all. So my solution is to buy a new air compressor. Any recomendations. I want to stay around 3-6 gallon. Thanks
