At one point I had three of those....I wonder where they are?

It's still marked that way online, but every store seems to have them for $149 and a lot down to $139.
In the stores that still have them, it is down to $129

The ridgid brushless circ saw hammer drill combo is down to $129. Still some available in N Austin.

The brushless ridgid works well. And if you can find one of the kits still available from the holidays you can get a great deal.

posted in the dewalt forum but I'll post here too because it involves a deal
Was just in HD and they have a dws709 (12 in 15 amp sliding) for $259 and a dws779 for $399. I'm seeing mixed reviews on the 709. Does anyone have experience with either?

I think I will look for them tomorrow....I was focused on the $99 20 volt DeWalt miter saw today. Lol
DeWalt
What what? Where did I miss this?

yeah. Just saw Home Depots price drop. That might be a good deal normally, but right now you can get the same kit new for $10 more at Home Depot.
Of course you can also finagle the Gen 2 kit for $270 using their $150 off deal
-
With this set being new, you still get the 5 yr warranty.
I won't be buying a set as I am knee deep in Ridgid and bosch 18v tools, I can't justify it.

The reason you are getting away from craftsman is dead batteries. if you buy into the ridgid line, their lifetime service agreement includes battery coverage for any batteries bought in a kit (with a tool).
Or you could get your craftsman batteries rebuilt. I haven't done it, but others probably have.
Otherwise, any of the above will fit the bill. If there is any special tool (other than drill, impact and saw) that you are interested in, find who makes that tool best and buy the rest accordingly..

According to a post elsewhere, the Ridgid x5 Brushless Hammer Drill, Circ Saw, 2 Ah battery, 4 Ah battery and charger are down to $139 in store if you can still find them. They were $179 around the holidays, $149 when I bought it a few weeks ago and now $139. The saw is awesome (7 1/4"). And there is always the LSA.
The Ridgid blower was down to $59 at the store closest to me.
The milwaukee fastback box cutter two pack was down to $7

The lowes service desk kills me. If I pick up an online order, 8 people will walk in an out of the service desk area and not make eye contact with anyone in line. There are actually 3 lines (returns, online orders and store service) and each line will have 1- 3 people queued up and one person helping those people out. No assistance comes until someone asks.

have had one of these on my keychain for a couple years. I usually use it to open packages. Not a fan of bulk either but I pick Gerber's shard up for like a buck at HD about a year ago. Pretty awesome ive used it quite a few times.

Lower your expectations.finally after all these years of home depot monopolizing our city we are finally getting a Lowe's store opening up......not sure how many and not sure it will have any impact.....I go to home depot 3 times a week whether I need to or not....lol

still $79 around me.3.0 and they are now a low price of $89. So $10 more than the sale price. I picked up a pair but might take them back if I plan to keep the makita brushless set.

2 pack of Bosch 18v batteries were $79, they were either 3.0 or 4.0
No metabo yet.

They were 3.0. And still in stock in a lot of places. I got a pair....of batteries.

The Bosch powerboxx always rates highly (though it won't help charge any Milwaukee batteries).
-
I know lowes discounts are often YMMV, but I'll post anyway:
$79.99
(if the link doesn't work, go to lowes.com and search for the 2 pack)

great haul. thanks for taking the time to make a video.
p.s. Voice did not match what I had in my head for a Jimbo
