Thanks Jimbo. It was between this and the Milwaukee version and I went with this because it was smaller. Plus I haven't heard too many good reviews on the Milwaukee.

Oh and someone got one hell of a deal on those Klein Multi Purpose Pliers!
Wasn't me... I swear!

Got this today while picking up some ice melt after work today.

I don't have many Bosch tools, but the ones I do have are awesome. (MR23EVSK Router Kit, JS572EBL Jigsaw and the AG-45 Grinder)
It seems I usually lean that way when I'm picking up something with a cord and go for Red when cordless.

Nice video Jimbo! That thing looks sweet! One of the carpenters on the job I was working at today had a Colt. If I didn't have to hurry up and get the LVT in the glue I would have went over and played with it

Milwaukee tool bag was a $10 Craigslist find. My little piece of Australia also came in today. Thankfully a bird eating spider didn't jump out of the package

Looks like it was redesigned with LEDs and an extra 1/4HP to compete with the 611!
I'll be holding out for this one!
-
I had heard that too. Thought it was going to have LEDs.

No LEDs on the Colt right?
-
Damn you Jimbo! Now I need to make up my mind between the Colt & the 611 so I can get a trimmer too

I'm seriously SUPER JEALOUS of all the cool shit you do Comp and I hate not being able to get some of this stuff for myself!

I definitely don't need them to be insulated but I'm definitely gonna go with the comfort grip when I pull the trigger on these.
-
They were out of stock at my local HD this afternoon otherwise I probably would have walked out with them!
-
They are definitely pricey. I'm not ready to drop hundreds on a whole new set of pliers but I can manage to upgrade one at time every once in a while. I'll be starting with the 10" Cobras.
Thanks for the input guys
-
Is it worth it? I don't have any Knipex products so I'm just wondering if the comfort grip is worth the extra $$$ before diving into the brand.
-
I'm jealous of all you guys that won these! I might have to pick them up

Here is my story:
When I was 14 I had my first experience with a power tool; it was an old Bosch jig saw. My parents had just got all the windows in the house replaced and my dad was trimming them out. He let me screw around on some scrap wood with the jig saw to get the hang of it, before letting me notch out all the sills... I was hooked. To this day my favorite tool is a jig saw and I even have a Bosch of my own, the JS572EBL.

I thought about doing a forum giveaway with the winner receiving stickers of their choice Milwaukee/DeWalt/Makita/Hilti/Ridgid/Festool you name it pretty much any tool company they wanted in a certain size of course.
Do it Comp! I could use some Milwaukee stickers!

If you make things for a living you can write off tool purchases. I write off anything I purchase throughout the year.

I tell myself every year I am going to keep all my tool receipts so I can write them off...I never do

Water Heater Replacement
in Around The House
Posted
DIY or not?
My water heater is on its last leg and I'm leaning towards hiring it out, but wanted to check with you guys if it's easily replaceable myself.
Anyone with lots of knowledge recommend a certain 40 gallon model I should look at either way?
Thanks
