  1. I'll put a 12v 4ah battery in mine, you put the 18v in yours, put it on high, ready set go!

Actually I'd imagine the 18v 2ah would last longer

    Haha I actually don't have any 18 slims, only (4) 4.0 and (2) 5.0.

Surprisingly the 5.0 did fit in the pocket, but it felt like my two year old was hanging from my left side! I'll stick with M12s.

  2. I got it primarily so I could charge stuff with the USB port, but I may throw it in the hoodie from time to time. I'm not quite sure an M18 XC battery would fit in the pocket, but a M18 slim battery definitely would.

I'm not quite sure if you would get more runtime with an M18 slim 2.0 or an M12 XC 4.0. Hmm....anyone know the answer to that?

  3. What was causing the trouble? How did you get it unstoped?

Just a food/grease buildup. Before going to rent a larger snake, I messed around with the little ridgid I picked up and finally broke it loose after about 15 minutes of working it. I was just about to give up when it finally pushed through.

  4. So true man! I think I'll get a nice family photo with all my m12 items, it'll have to be in panoramic!

Nice to hear you got your drain cleared, plus getting a new tool out of that, im all for that! I have the same disposer you got, but if your drains are crap, or going uphill (like mine was bc its older house, and nobody cared) or take sharp bends on the horizontal, you're in for trouble. So here's to hoping your drains flow free and the crapper stays clear!

I really should update my family photo as well. I've gotten a lot more red since I last took a pic.

My drains seem to be well pitched with no sharp turns so hopefully I won't have any problems!

  5. I hVe the Dewalt, I grab that thing over a lot of other lights, you get a great work area with it and it has two light settings. Good sturdy light it isn't too heavy or anything. Only downfall I wish it had a hook instead of the ring on top. Highly recommend this light, paid 40 for it on Black Friday and it was worth every penny!

Sounds like you need to fab your own hook Jimbo! Maybe even just add a medium size carabiner on top.

  6. You weren't supposed to be able to get it, so that you call guys like me to make a living off lol!

Kinda ironic thing on my work sometimes a toilet won't flush right but everything else drains fine. Barring the crazy wash cloth scenario I had on here yesterday, I can almost always plunge it thru, even after the customer has been at it for a day or two. It's like my superpower ha!

Haha sorry Knarly! With the money I saved by not having to call a plumber I picked this puppy up. I'm wiring up the power cord as we speak while watching the GB-AZ game.

  7. Good luck with the drain! This is my line of work from a homeowner's perspective lol! Be careful of kinks with that thing.

Lay down some old towels in front of the sink so you don't smear stuff over the floor like from sitting the snake down or whatever you pull back.

Is it pvc? Do you have access to the drain from under the floor? Might take cutting out section of pipe if it's real bad

Thanks for all the help guys. I was able to clear the drain and I'm glad I listened and put an old towel down as I pulled some nasty crap outta there. Went straight into the trash afterwards! I think I'm gonna go pick up a new garbage disposal now. They seem pretty straightforward to install on my own.

  8. . Thanks bro!! I'm really trying to focus on what I need for some wood working. She also had a boring machine but to be honest I didn't know what that was for and she says she's gonna be bringing down a lot more big machines that she has no idea what there for I'm hoping she remembers to email me :} now I just need some advice on some good router bits guys.

I use Whiteside bits and buy them as I need them as they're pricey. I would recommend NOT buying a cheap set as you'll more than likely regret it, and you won't even use half of them.

  9. Try removing the trap under the sink. Then use that thing again or rent a bigger one from a rental. Around Here it's about 25 a day to rent. Hope you figure out something.

    Millerz

I removed both traps on the double sink and both were perfectly clear. I looked at HD and saw that I can't rent a larger snake for about $30 so that's what I'll do tomorrow if I can't get it when my little Ridgid.

  10. Picked this up earlier to try to help unclog my kitchen sink that backed up on the ol lady this morning. No luck plunging, cleaning the traps or snaking it. I'm not quite sure what to do now. Don't wanna deal out the cash for a plumber to come look at it so I'll mess around with it again tomorrow to see if i can get er done.
