I've recieved 3 emails so far. One that they recieved the order, one that the order is being processed, and one that its been completed. These guys sure love sending emails! Hopefully the next one tells me it shipped and has tracking info.
Did they give you tracking info that works yet Chris? Just wondering what the ETA is.

Fire them things up and let us know how you like them. I'm really interested to hear your thoughts on the recip saw and how it compares to the red beast.

I was surprised today by the ups guy showing up with my new Milwaukee light and free 5.0 battery. I wasn't expecting this to come in till Thursday according to the email I got from HD.
Nice! I love when stuff comes earlier than expected!
Have you played with it? How do you like it? 3,000 lumens would be sweet! It's a little too bulky for me. I wish it was the size of their older M18 Flood Light that I have.

Just ordered the thingamejig

Some parallel clamps would be sweet as I don't own any

Holy crap Chris! How have I been missing out on this thread?! Love your shop and hope to have a setup similar in the future!
-
I should note that the set i picked up isn't exactly like the one in the video above. Mine doesn't have those gold bits and instead includes 4 Robertson and a slotted bit.

After playing around with both the Kompakt and BR30 around the house today I'm totally impressed with both. The Kompakt feels so good in my hand and I love the "removable bayonet blade." I was even impressed with the iPhone like packaging it came in. The Kompakt will definitely be replacing my Klein as my go to screwdriver.
The BR30 is equally as impressive. The whole set up was definitely well thought out. All of the bits are super high quality and I'm afraid to use them because I don't want to lose any!

First tool: TS55
Second: Midi
Third: Kapex
Fourth: Domino
Fifth: I'll start with 10 of each size Systainer
Wow, Festool should buy me some lotto tickets because it seems I'll be heavily investing in it should I win!
Whoops...so much for only naming 1

Definitely get at least one! It makes a mark on everything I've tried and the built in sharpener on the green holder is great for when I need a finer line.
-
Hmmm... House for my mom and dad. I'd build one big ass shop with the latest and greatest to play in all day. At least one of each Festool product and probably two of each with anything red that says fuel. And of course the TIA crew will get set up with some awesome member giveaways for a long long time!

I just added the app and can watch a couple from today.

I'll second the Pica dry marker/pencil. I have 3 and have gotten most of the guys I work with to go out a buy them too. I believe they're $15 at woodcraft and you can get a set of refills for about $12. 3 or 4 black and I think 2 or 3 each of red and yellow. Red and yellow work great on darker materials where you can't really see the black.

That is nuts man. I don't know how they are able to do that considering how big they are.

So what did they do to update these? Looking at the 2368 & 2369 and I'm wondering what they could have possibly done to justify the extra $40?
