  1. An Epiq is my ambition too JR, The Master series box will last you and your son a lifetime thats for sure and 10 years down the road might be that long before I upgrade too! Unfortunately though I have no kids to pass mine onto but thats ok, when I'm old it'll give me something to polish...lol
  2. it took me a long time to get my box to where it is and my starting point was a good box, I have a lot of other brands other than Snap-on, Knipex, OTC, Matco, MAC and some Britool stuff I brought from the UK when I moved to Canada. I'm in my mid 40's now and its taken me this long to get my set up to where it is and I never owned a Snap-on box till I was in my late 30's cause I could never afford it so to own a Master series box is a great start to make!
  3. love the green bro, my first car was a very similar colour, 1978 Ford MkII Ford Escort with a black vinyl roof...happy days! It don't matter if everything aint Snap-on, theres a lot of great manufacturers out there making tools just as good and with the same warranty, but you do have one of the best boxes on the market to keep it all in and thats what counts! Welcome to the forum!
  4. keep em bro, you got a deal there! even the Matco half moon wrenches aren't cheap...when you buy Snap-on for a deal hang onto them!
  5. FILTH!! thats just absolute, 100%, undiluted, hardcore pornography!! i think a bit of wee came out when I saw the stack of Festool systainers and the Kapex miter saw....beautiful set up Faz...wow!!

    My Baby!

what would be really cool is a TIA epoxy inlay sign to hang on the back wall of the top box!...lol or i take off my butcher block work surface and bring it to Dan so he can carve it in for me!
  8. unfortunately no its an automatic ankur but it does have a sport mode and paddle shifters and actually accelerates quicker than the manual...but the GP is stick!

thats exactly it ankur, I have had criticism for stuff being too clean "you're not a good mechanic if your tools are clean" or "you mustn't work very hard of you have time to keep your tools clean" but like you say its pride in your tools, they cost too much to abuse and plus i get pleasure out of cleaning them! thanks for the praise bro!

thanks mate, the box is great! the quality is top notch and the best feature is how deep the drawers are, 28" so i can fit a lot of suff in there! the tools that look like tuning forks are used to split ball joints usually referred to in the US as pickle forks!

    My Baby!

yeah they had a lot of issues, some of the better cars were made in conjunction with Honda, I had a Rover 216 GSi that had a twin cam Honda engine and transmission and was pretty much bullet proof but anything 100% Rover was pretty shitty...but the K-series engine was a good unit except for oil leaks...but that was the problem with old British bikes as well....the Japanese made better bikes and much more reliable engines! British cars do have a lot of character though as unreliable and expensive as they can be to run. Strangely enough the new MINI's can be just as problematic as the old ones but I've never driven a car that puts a bigger smile on my face whenever I drive it!

    My Baby!

yeah City was a model when Rover made them, I worked for Rover back in the mid 90's and back then I could just about drive the classic Mini's....but 20 years and too much beer and food later and my fat ass can't get in one now, but the new MINI's are very roomy and comfy. One day though I want to get hold of a classic and restore it!

    My Baby!

thanks bro, I appreciate the feedback. Love my tools and my MINI's...lol
  21. LOL...I do like Milwaukee but I went the DeWalt route, I love their stuff but the choice that Milwaukee offers is hard to beat! I know what you mean about other forums, sometimes if you don't know something and you ask, people can be very condescending but i've never found that with any of the TIA crew!
  22. not sure why it took so long DR other than I wanted to get my toolbox in order and my Tools In Action stickers on so i could show her off...lol but i think the real reason is I'm a procrastinator...but its good to be here now....i'll have a look for the post you mentioned!
  23. thanks Mike, a welcome from the 2015 UTB winner is extra special!! looking forward to getting to know everyone better!
