  1. yeah definitely an innovative idea, not cheap but looks well executed and solidly built
  2. Just got the email from ToolNut with this new system from Triton, I know I've seen it on April Wilkerson's channel but I think TIA need to pull a few strings and get hold of one to review! http://www.toolnut.com/Triton_Workcentre_Systems_s/3445.htm?utm_source=Triton+Workcentre&utm_campaign=Triton+Workcentre&utm_medium=email
  3. I agree Jerry that aren't exactly "small" but I can't get in an old one now unless i chop off my legs at the knee...lol
  4. 2007 MINI Cooper S, no mods yet but got plans for JCW exhaust and maybe a Brembo brake upgrade. I'm 6'2" and 350lbs and it always makes people laugh when I say I drive a MINI, but its comfortable and as much as its a cliche it drives like a go-kart and I drive round with a permanent cheesy grin on my ugly mug!
  5. yeah kruton i agree ToolNuts free shipping is great, I bought suff when i lived in the US but now I'm in Canada I can't take advantage of their great deals...

    My Baby!

Hey Mike...not good on the job front...bit of back story, i've been out of the retail motor trade for over 12 years, I left the UK in 2003 to work for the US Military in Hinesville, GA at Ft Stewart. Worked on military equipment for 7 years and then left to go to Afghanistan for 3 years, again working for the US Military. The retail world is a whole different animal to what I was doing for the Army, you weren't under as strict time frames and you just got on with the work that was needed. To cut a long story short I was doing ok on cars but was not quick enough or knowledgeable enough on trucks and trucks were 90% of the guys business so he let me go 2 weeks ago. I'm looking other avenues, either working for myself or something off the tools, I was a supervisor for 2 years in Afghanistan and enjoyed the responsibility so I'm hoping to find something similar in the retail trade. Thanks for checking in with me Mike, I appreciate it.

    My Baby!

Cheers, I do try to stick to the 5S rules as much as I can but it's hard to do in a retail shop where every minute is precious. I would love to have a set of foam tool control for the drawers like they do in the aircraft industry but as much as they keep your stuff organized they don't make the most efficient use of space and thats my biggest challenge, as big as the box is it's full and it's hard to find places for new stuff without everything descending into chaos...lol
  14. welcome to the forum MK, nice set of Fuel tools there bro!
  15. Thanks bro, love my Mini's, I'd love a classic but my fat ass can't get in one now...next one I get is gonna be the right colour though, British Racing Green with a white roof and hopefully a John Cooper, gotta love more bhp!!...lol
  16. Cheers Chris mate, yeah it's all good now, just a long process and not being able to work has seized the old joints but it's all good!
  17. Thanks very much Nicholas, yes it's a small shop, just me the owner and his nephew. It's good to start small till I get back into the swing of things!
  18. No mate I wish I worked for myself, but it's a family run shop so good people and nice atmosphere!
  19. Thanks big MikeZ I appreciate the kind words bro! First day was hard, raised on European cars and all I did today were domestic trucks and I ain't never worked on em...first job was AC compressor and drier on a Dodge 3500 dually crew cab can't get much bigger...lol
  20. so I finally started my new job today and for the first time in a long time all the components of my toolbox were in the same place. I have had the end cabinet at the house to repair some damage done by the shipping company and to add some custom graphics. Today was the first day it was all done and put together. I realize i posted pictures of my box in the "Show off your box" section but I wanted to show the crew what she looks like all together. Rough day at work, haven't worked for 2 years due to immigration bullshit so its hard getting back into it but it'll come!
  21. sorry to hear that Jason mate, I hope you get everything sorted...glad to hear the damage was minimal
