  1. Don't forget to look at the Tstak lineup. They are great as well, especially if space is limited or you do mostly interior work. Not to mention they are harder to overload with tools which keeps the carrying weight down.

  2. Bosch has a cart and dolly too

The Bosch dolly is just that though, a folding dolly. It isn't made specifically to fit their Sortimo cases. The cases just ride on the aluminum dolly base. I know this because I own the folding Bosch dolly. It's nice. c8689eec01d5ae86ede03000cb76f339.jpg

  3.

I'm with you 100% on that. Just got it for my birthday in the beginning of November, and I absolutely love it.

What's the chances anyone has heard about a new 18g brad nailer coming out in the near future? I'm contemplating buying the Senco Fusion since I don't really want to buy the previous version of the DeWalt and have a new one come out right after... Would REALLY prefer to stay with the same battery pack in a shiny new DeWalt though if at all possible, especially if it's anywhere near as good as the finish nailer.

If anyone from DeWalt is reading this - QUIT DRAGGING YOUR FEET ON THE BRAD NAILER!

Brad nailer is coming out quarter 1 of 2017.

  4. I too saw these at Lowe's a couple days ago. Definitely bigger, not sure what I would use these for having multiple FlexVolt batteries now.

Knowing the 5.0, 4.0, and 3.0ah batteries are the same size, I'll stick with my 5.0ah batteries now. I get great runtime on these.

I have a plethora of 2.0ah batteries which are my go to on a lot of tools. I don't need the max power or extra weight. I would rather switch batteries out more in the day and save the weight. But that is just me.

  5. I went and tried to buy it from U.K. and D.E. but they aren't currently selling today!!!!!! What the heck?!?!?!?!?!

The seller has to be Amazon. It cannot be a third party. Amazon's quantity fluctuates pretty regularly on the item.
  6. The only a Milwaukee tool I miss having is the rotary tool. But in a fit of frustration with all that is red I sold that little bastard have missed it since day 1. Bosch has one but it's NAINA.

I have the Bosch 12v rotary, bought from Amazon UK, easy to do. What an awesome tool and the LED is fantastic.

  7. Finally getting around to posting my black Friday purchases. I know it's a couple of days late, but it is the first day off since that day. Lowe's had the DWS7491RS table saw for $499 and the DWS780 miter saw with DWX723 miter saw stand combo for $599. I know they offer the latter several times a year, but that is pretty much the best price I have seen it at. Throw in the local store giving me the 10% military discount (I didn't think it would apply to black Friday deals) and it came in under $1000 before taxes.

    Black Friday 2016 3.jpg

The DW744 and DW718 they replace will be donated to the local Habitat for Humanity. The DWS780 will be bolted to the same bench the DW718 was and the stand will be used with my DCS361 for most of the portable work I might need to do. The rest came from the nearby Home Depot, nothing special on the blade prices, but the two saw will probably never see their DeWALT blades cut a board, but I will probably keep them around just in case I ever need to cut some treated lumber. The hole saw kit and Klein kits were black Friday deals and $40 and $50 respectively (Home Depot is where I got that Impression you can't apply black Friday and military discounts together).

I had it in my head that if the table saw dropped below $500 or the miter saw combo was it's usual $599, I would buy them. I just wasn't expecting them both to happen. Throw in the unexpected discount and I am a very happy camper.

For $599, why didn't you just get the new DeWalt 12" 790 FlexVolt miter saw? Is the same price and can go cordless/corded. It has updated dust collection and a better motor with blade brake. No free stand but you have one. If you didn't want the cordless, sell the batteries and charger for $250 and run the saw corded.

  8. I love my Makita track saw, been using it for a year now and do not know what I would do without it. I use the table saw a lot less now. With that said. I will be buying the FlexVold DeWalt when it becomes available. I run the FlexVolt table saw now and will be picking up the miter saw. It just makes sense. Plus I like cordless tools.

I will determine if my work flow could benefit from both or if I will sell the Makita.
