Hello everyone,
just joined forum, but I have been watching TIA on you tube for awhile.
Really enjoy watching and learning about the newest tools and equipment.
i am pretty much a DeWALT fan, but I do understand that everyone likes what they like !
my shop is just my two car garage I share with a golf cart and a washer dryer, nothing fancy.
Thanks,
Buddy
Welcome to the crew buddy. Glad to have you. We are all about tools too. And any pics or videos you have are really appreciated.

Any thing good. Like that new dewalt drill would be awesome.!! May he the what's it called ventrack or something? Kipper transites are awesome. Not a laser one though. Table saw. Anything big from metabo. Idk if Dan will let go of them though. Lol. sawhorses of some kind. Nice Levels. A Truck. New or used. Dewalt chainsaw. Or any good named chainsaw would do. Let me know if any more ideas are needed.

My neighbor got a ryobi chainsaw at Home Depot. We started it up right of the box just fine. It ran as expected. Ran it off an on for about 30 minutes. When we went to start it again an it won't start. Tried everything We can think of but no luck. Looked at the manual again an still no luck. We went to lunch an let it cool down, still no luck when we got back. I was just wondering if anyone has any ideas? Are we missing the obvious or is it a complete piece of garbage?
Ultimately I got my stihl an we finished removing the small tree.
Hes probably just gonna take it back to HD if we can't get it going. Literally not even a day old an already problems. I don't expect a good saw for like 175 bucks including tru fuel an bar oil. I do expect it to run a little more then a day of light use.
Take it back asap

Good Day Crew!
I hate to post post sad news, but me ladies mother has just been moved to a Hospice. Her health has been down hill hill for a few years now, but after her latest issues with Dialysis, the family has had to make the tough choice.
This is discussion is on the heals of my family, having to put my pops in a nursing home, he's a tough Korean War Veteran, and a long time UAW Worker. The real sad thing is, he's in Wisconsin, and I am in Ohio, and have not been able to get home to visit him at the moment.
I am in good spirits considering, but I have never had to deal with a loss to anyone close.

Got a couple of One Time Tools from Woodpeckers today.
I love the precision and finish, but I do have to admit, I wish they weren't quite so spendy.

They're high priced. I've looked at the too. You can't go wrong with these other than the price and it getting into the wrong hands. Lol

Doesn't quite come across in the video but the 120XP is a little less than half as quiet. It's twice as smooth as the stubby.
Here is a video of the sound comparison between the 3/8" 120xp(left) and 3/8" Stubby(right):
Yea man you could hear a big difference in the video.

Good buy anyway. Even if you're broke. I'm contemplating on doing the same thing. Lol

I think you would be happy with the stihl ms 170. Its powerful enough to do anything you need to do. And it's a good price. I'd get the 16in bar with it.
