Does anyone have a dewalt high velocity hammer?? I've been wanting to buy one for ages but just have had a hard time justifying it.. Curious of everyone's thoughts on them and if you've had any experience with them.. They go on sale semi regularly around here so if I ever snag one It'll be on sale. Stilettos are just a little too pricey for me [emoji6]
cheers
I've been looking at those hammers too man. I feel the same way about them and the stilettos. One of the guys that use to help me bought the plain Jain wood handle stiletto hammer. It was nice to use. But not a hundred dollars nice. I would like a honest oppion on the dewalt too if any one has it.

Another guy that I'm doing work for asked me if I layed the rock on the floor. So it's hard to tell what it is in the picture.

Well that looks better, water leaking into the subfloor can be a real stinking pain, literally.
You like doing flooring like that millerz?

It's easy to put down. Idk if I would use it in my house though?

Just tell them you never got anything from them yet. Lol. All the money they have and tools they give away for a "review" it won't hurt them. Like the one who shall not be named. Lol

I wonder how many guys and gals listen to tunes on the job? I know at home I do, but I have a stereo to listen too. I know a bunch of contractors and they all listen to a radio. Funny. I'm just not one? Weird I guess what's new.

I don't either. I've had help that liked too. But as for me. Could care less. Usally I have so much on my mind I don't even think of or take the time to turn on or hear a radio. Lol

The flooring is a self adheiring vinyl. I think they said it seals Its self to the floor some how. Its ok stuff. It's the first time I've used it. The home owner already bought it. It looks good too. Its Good for a trailer. You don't have to use any glue on this flooring. I use a roll on light hold glue on it any way.

Having good clients is a huge plus. That's awesome and thanks for sharing the picture. You have to show us the completed project.
Here's some picks of rapping it up today. Half a day left I guess. Maybe a whole day. If they want me to do the trim. Lol

It could have been worse. The joist could have been rotten too. But lucky for the people that bought the trailer it sat for many year so nobody was using it. Putting a new floor, tub, toilet, cabinet and sink. And all new faucets, and cut offs. Put new faucets and cutoffs in the other bathroom and new toilet and cutoff too. New kitchen faucet and cutoffs. And a new bottom in the kitchen cabinet. It had rotten too. From a leak. Working for good poeple too. And that makes it a lot better working with someone that understands that you never know what you're going to run into remodeling. And they have been buying my lunch too.

My Makita is from the early 90s and still going. You didn't say anything about it. Just my experience with belt Sanders. The Makita has been the better one of the others guys have had in know. But in Its heyday porta cable made some of the best stuff out. I'd try my luck with it I think...

The oscillating tools have been the most valuable tool lately for me. As far as tight situations and getting out of a hard spot. Or my #4 Stanley plain. It helps make finish work really become finished work.
