  1. Conveniently, I'm not married and I'm an only child so I'm probably keeping any tools I buy. My best friend from HS is like a brother to me, I generally only buy gifts for his Son but he's a little young for real tools, maybe if they lived in a house and his Dad had a garage but not in an apartment. WIth the auction, I murdered my tool budget for a few months so I guess that's my Christmas presents this year...depending on how quickly I can sell six maple top work benches.

I wanted to buy this set for my cousins first son sooo bad. But he's only 1!

  2. It's either too small or it's too big, you can't win for trying.

Damned perverts, get your minds out of the gutter!! I'm talking about Flexzilla Pro air hose. Wanted to join two 50' hoses but the ends of the hoses coupled together were too big (too long to wrap around right) for my hose reel. Went and picked up a couple of different fittings, figured I'd just cut the ends off and put the hoses together with either push-type connectors or a barbed fitting and hose clamps. Really wanted to use push-type, hose clamps suck balls because they stick out. Bought a 5/8" and 1/2" fitting, figured one of them would work.

Nope. The hose is too big for a 5/8" fitting, and too small for a 1/2" fitting. I could pull it out of the 1/2" fitting so that means air pressure would blow the hose out too. Tried the inserts that they include to make the hose more solid...made the hose too big to push into the fitting. DAMMIT!!! Put the caliper on the hose to see what the O.D. was and it fit perfectly into that meaty part of the curve between "too big" and "too small"...insert a couple of expletives. Had to use a barbed fitting and hose clamps. Did the old "wrap electrical tape around them" routine and there ya go.

At least I can look on the bright side and say I have 99' (gotta subtract the foot that I cut off) of brand new Flexzilla air hose. I can also look on the bright side that I've had air in the compressor for three days and it's stayed put, no leaks. Hopefully the barbed fitting will last...

  3. ya that was the worst, them telling me "we have the batteries for Canada and will be shipped tomorrow" 5 times they told me that. Now I don't care how actually long it takes don't tell me tomorrow each time I ask .. come to think of it if ya don't say tomorrow I don't have to ask so many times.......

Damn! Hope it makes it soon! It took an extra week after@knarlycarl got his set for mine to arrive, and@justinkendall's name was completely overlooked until just recently if I recall.

So amazon had a deal of the day on the metric set of these gedore wrenches for only 60 bucks, sad the SAE weren't in sale but the hunt is on! I'm impressed by the quality seals on the box

And I gotta say I can't believe how light these wrenches are and I'm a huge fan of the finish!

Also, thank you @john_glasseyi for forfeiting his Instagram win from ridgid over to me, this sweet label light will be perfect for filming!

  5. Gotta try either felo or the wiha terminators

I plan on ordering some when I can remember to do so [emoji23]. I usually end up getting the bigger things we need first. Like today spending $1200 on shelving and a ladder rack for the new van.

  6. I've heard both good and bad things about them but figured at $6 it was worth it to have some bits in the case until I figure out if it's going in my bag with my M12 drivers and bit kits or in a different bag.

The bits in the new set I got kick ass

  7. I buy the double ended Makita Gold exclusively anymore. Best impact bits I have ever had the pleasure of using

The first pack of makita golds I bought weren't worth shit. Not sure what went wrong with that batch, but the set I bought a couple of weeks ago have been kicking ass!

  8. My part of Texas doesn't get much snow. Last decent snow was 2006. Nothing by a lot of y'alls standards! We came to Ruidoso, NM day after Christmas and we're leaving tomorrow. They had snow two weeks ago, and they'll get more after we leave!

  9. Haha only real use for my Milwaukee ncv tester is a penlight! Got two for one deal and it has worked fine, but I mainly got it for the light lol!!

I bought a two for ten pack about five years ago. Complete junk. I haven't seen them in HD again until about a month ago.
