Biggest one I've ever been a part of installing was 14'. I have a few videos on my IG of four recently installed 10 footers.

Thats weird, my 2602 almost lost it's chuck screw running a 1-1/4" spade bit through landscaping timbers. It started getting rough. I re-tightened the bit and it still did it. Once I figured out what it was, I put it back in with blue loctite and haven't had an issue since, but there's no doubt in my mind it would have snapped if I hadn't noticed it quickly.

Strangely enough, my father broke the chuck bolt of his 2703 on Saturday! He was using a 7" long 7/8"Bosch daredevil auger through a couple 2x6's and hit a gnarly knot I guess. So between the two of us we have 3 out of commission m18 hammer/drivers

Bolt that holds the chuck to the shaft...

That's ridiculous though, guy at work has a 2602 i think and his broke, too.

Hope you get worthwhile use from the OneKey set

Yeah the bolt that's what I meant!

Man this is literally the third time this has happened on this same 2602 drill! I might give it to my helper as soon as it comes back!

I wasn't planning on buying a onekey set actually. I was going to buy the surge with the two 2.0's. I missed the Black Friday deal to get a free tool with this kit, on account of running out of spending coin last week. Still $375 wasn't bad. And I needed a drill after the other two took a crap last week. The gen1 fuel still technically works, it's just a bear to use right now.

This is why I frequent Lowes very infrequently shall I say....

Southwire hand tools are mediocre, for the price and availability, not bad, just don't expect real good quality. I myself won't buy them. I do, however like their meters, I have used one for about a year now, and more recently they sent me another one that is IP67 rated, seems pretty decent and I haven't had a problem with my current one. So I wouldn't overlook the meters, just the hand tools.

Also, @NicolasRamos did you say whether you recognized the meters from another brand..?

  7. Yes sir. That is me. I follow along with your posts too. I am Bricoleur_Design_Jax on IG.

I'm new on here but also recognized the post! Love your Mak pac systainer compressor setup! If I did some carpentry I'd definitely try that out.

  8. I love black Friday and the Saturday after. All the people are down town so I get the highway and back roads all to myself. Didn't see a single car on the roads when I did commodity deliveries this morning until about noon when people started to wake up.

Sounds like in your line of work it's even better! I like going into the open supply stores and not waiting forever cause every other contractor in town is still hungover.

  9. Thanks guys! Carl I've been eyeing the mspector but just haven't pulled the trigger I've found it for around $120 used but I'm just being patient for now, I don't need it at the moment but I dooo want it though [emoji6]

Mine has saved Me a few times already. Still wish it was a little better quality, but for the money it's not bad. I would like to upgrade sometime to the M-Spector Flex with the pivoting scope.

You know I didn't even make it down that aisle. [emoji15] not sure if it would be the same price, but there was probably some other decent items marked down in there.

I meant that it's just a new set, reasonably priced. Nothing ground breaking but Diablo is Diablo.

I bought this set last week. They are still good hole saws. I'll probably replace them with the carbide tipped counterparts as they need replacing.
