  1. So I'm trying out the wiha insulated bit flip in my Veto TP4. It's my general go to pouch. Depending on the task I can use it alongside my MCT for service, or my Tech Pac for installs (resi/comm). I also threw in the RA2 in there, and it has been great so far this week. I keep 2" nutsetters in my pocket at all times, so I haven't had an issue with that yet. Today I'm trimming out a residential sub panel, so I threw in the Klein Romex strippers, and the ideal Lil' ripper Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

  6. Sorry I've been so absent lately y'all, it's been a hell of a month. Well here's the last few weeks of purchases. Loved the kompact so much I picked up an RA! Also picked up some combination inserts for them. Also got a good deal on Amazon for the knipex. Still waiting on the 12" to arrive. Picked up the insulated bit flip, and the Klein 5125 for the helper/apprentice. He loves the Klein canvas bags. They are a classic. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

  9. Thanks! I have a love hate relationship with that damn front replacement. I had been wanting to get a Fusion bumper for a while, but if it ain't broke don't fix it right. Well after the accident I had the opportunity to order something else. Another frontier gear ranch bumper would have been $1,200 dollars, and a fusion was $1,600. I was ready to pay the difference, but half the Cummins trucks in my area all run Fusion bumpers. I wanted to find something different, but still clean/modern, and found Trail ready bumpers made this for my truck. $1,400 wasn't so bad, until it arrived, in 5 different pieces! The truck accessory place didn't list the fact that this bumper was "modular" which meant bolt together. They told me 5 weeks to build, so I thought complete bumper. Shame on me for not doing enough research. Well it arrived at the body shop on a palate, with no assembly hardware! My body shop called to say that I needed to come look at the bumper to make sure it was what I wanted. I didn't understand what it meant till I got there and saw the pieces on the floor. ?‍♂️. Called and complained about the fact that it wasn't made aware to me that it would be a bolt together item. They informed me that if I wanted a credit I would have to pay for the return freight of $750. I kept the damn thing but demanded the hardware. I'm gonna take a grinder too it in the spring and strip it. My buddy who is a welder is going to weld it together, and my body shop is going to color match it. I love the way it looks, but if I had known it wasn't a one piece thing I would have just sprung for the fusion. You live and you learn. c'est la vie -Nick Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  10. My daily driver is a 13" oal Stanley fatmax 16oz. Rip claw. I need to get something longer, and anti vibe for demo day on remodels. Around here standard height for receptacles is 13" from the floor, to the bottom of the box. So everyone uses a 13" flat bottom hammer to set boxes. I'd love to get a Martinez Tools hammer. We shall see if that's in my future. Lots of tools to buy! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

  22. Well I had an eventful Friday! First service call was a bank that lost 1/3 of its light that morning. They were pushing 15 amps of lighting for so long the GE breaker just couldn't take the heat any longer. I'll be going back to separate the load, and possibly upgrade the panel to a CH with integrated surge protection, as soon as they can give me a day to shut down that sub panel. Next call was for another tripped breaker. This time an old ITE panel with a refrigerator, toaster, and a bunch of old T12 fluorescent under cab's on one circuit. This ones going to get a changeout, and some new dedicated circuits in the kitchen, plus led under cab's. Last call was the one that took the most of my day. Loose connection on a wall switch in a rent house. How loose? didn't pull out the FLIR this time, although it would have been amusing! Once I flipped the switch and heard the crackling I new were the issue was! After rewiring this lighting circuit, and replacing the device, I was asked by the landlord to look at the other rent house next door. Tons of old cloth wire, and piss poor j-boxes in the attic. Someone already did take the time to rewire the kitchen, and restroom with new copper Romex from the panel. But the lighting for the house remained handyman touched. Spent some time getting acquainted with the attic space and finding all the boxes, and cloth wiring that we're going to go and eliminate on Wednesday. That damn FLIR C2 has already payed for it self these last two weeks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
