It would be interesting if someone created an adapter plate that clipped onto T-Stak, and allowed Packout modules to connect to that (and vice-versa).  There are several people selling the clips and feet for Packout boxes, but I haven't seen any one doing the same thing for T_Stak boxes yet (might have just missed them).

Very smart something to integrate tough system and packout would be sick

  2. You need to buy some professional grade tools if you expect them to keep up with daily use and abuse

Can this be used for bulk loading fire caulking from a 5 gallon pail? I'm also using a follow plate going through about 15 gallons a day

I do believe they have a sausage/bulk gun make sure you do your research

@Hugh Jass I just found out there is a new Pressure washer that uses a 20v max battery. It appears to have a combustion engine so I'm not sure what the battery is for but its a new product I guess.

The battery makes it electric start.

Dewalt is working on Ventilator power supply for Covid 19.

Tow truck driver in Fairbanks Alaska where it gets -40 f my dewalt 20 vmax batteries stay in my trk outside overnight and I've never had a problem with the batteries or the half inch impact they run dewalt makes some of the most durable cordless tools out there Milwaukee usually perform better but don't last as long in abusive environments go ahead and drop your dewalt in the dirt and it will keep working way longer than a red tool dropped in the same dirt

That’s badass Welcome to the Forums. Rare to meet someone living in Alaska it seems

I just purchased the Dewalt 60V blower. I went to charge it after I figured out how to remove the red cover. As soon as I plugged it in, the red light did not blink but stayed red. Based on this information I assumed it was fully charged. Without 10 min's it died. I pushed the button in the back and only one green light would lite up. So I put it back in the charger and also decided to charge it inside since the manual warns about charging it below 65 degrees. The red light stays red and the one green light says on. I thought it was suppose to blink when charging. I read a lot on line about people complaining about battery issues after I purchased it. Hopefully the battery is not defective.

    Sounds like a defective battery

  7. I’ve had a lot of Dewalt batteries go bad on me sometimes my fault other times I don’t know why but that never stopped me from buying DeWalt tools and they’ve always honored the warranty and took care of me

  8. Using a dust extractor will yield better results. The sander doesn’t create suction to draw the dust into the bag. The bag would probably work best overhead when you don’t want to hold the added weight of the hose and gravity will help the dust to fall into the bag

Dewalt does not need to improve on the 12” mitre saw...its spectacular. The festool is not better just not jobsite worthy...they do need a double bevel 7 1/4” mitre saw..

    Tool Connect

    Improved Dust extraction

Integrated material stop for repetitive cuts

Integrated material supports that can slide out a foot or so. (For pieces that are too short to catch your stand supports and too long to keep from tipping or not being perfectly flat.

So while I believe the 790 is a great saw my favorite tool, it could be improved without a doubt

  10. You could simply keep all your screws and nails in the boxes they come in and load it up that way. But i think your going to need a dedicated organizer. I use boxes similar to this (tough system) to carry coils of nails.
