  1. Bumping an older topic here, because I like, but am not anywhere close to being an expert about, knives. I am into survival stuff and dig Cody Lundin. He touts the Mora Classic due to the carbon steel blade and the ease of sharpening and the fact that it holds an edge for a ridiculously long time (both important in survival situations). That being said, I saw, Conductor, that you mentioned Frost. Aren't they partnered up with Mora? I could Google it but I'm feeling conversational. Anyway, I just ordered two of these for our bug-out-bags: click They were actually $7.xx a piece and are perfect for the purpose.
  2. I love a well designed tool, and that looks like it would do the job well. But when a company makes a video like that and doesn't provide realistic comparisons, it turns me off to their product. I mean, does anyone really try to dig postholes with a squared off shovel? If they're going to make a video, compare it to someone with a manual set of post hole diggers. The lame comparison turned a decent video into an annoying video.

    Cordless Fan

Some of my work is outdoors and I would love to have a cordless fan. I see Makita and Ryobi make one. If DeWalt did, I would think they'd sell like crazy.
  4. I believe this is my new favorite DeWalt (or any) tool. I install signs and had a job the other day requiring letters to be stud-mounted on a monument with a split rock face. Other than the frustration of the ridges and so on that kept diverting the bit off course, the tool performed perfectly. After using a Hilti for similar installations (such as the monument in the background with the limestone face), I was a little concerned about whether or not a cordless version would perform as required. I have to say, I'm thrilled with it. I have five of the 20V Max batteries and brought them all with me as well as the charger, my generator and a DeWalt corded SDS rotary hammer in the event the cordless wasn't up to the job. Each letter has three to four studs, so I had to drill somewhere between 75 and 100 quarter inch holes in the stone face. I went through one battery in the process and barely part of a second one. Oh, and this was using the DeWalt Rock Carbide bits. They're pretty great. If anyone is considering purchasing this, I would definitely recommend it!
