PutnamEco
An interesting video comparing Knipex Cobras verses NWS QauttroGripps. Looks like I may have to look into these NWS pliers a little further. I prefer non locking pivots though so I'll be a little more interested in their Classic water pump pliers. PutnamEco
Another NWS video I found, this time on their CombiMax Pliers, I think they might be stretching it a bit thinking they would replace four tools, but I could see them being handy. PutnamEco
Nice find man.Apparently, NWS have a lot of fans over in the EU. I'm really surprised we don't have more tools like these available easily here in the states.
Conductor562
Hell, we have a hard enough time getting the latest stuff from the European manufacturers we do have.
PutnamEco
Hell, we have a hard enough time getting the latest stuff from the European manufacturers we do have.I can't help but think of Wayne not being able to find anything other than Chinese roto hammers, you think him being so much closer he would have much better access than we do here. Free trade Hmmmm...
Conductor562
I still go out of my way to get American hand tools, but I've pretty much given up on power tools. That Makita is the first of what I consider "traditional" SDS style hammers with interchangeable chucks that I've seen.

There are still plenty of perfectly usable old tools available in the used tool market. Maybe if we quit buying Chinese tools they will go away. Conductor562
People really don't have much choice. There are only so many old power tools to be had and there really aren't any new American alternatives.

Manufacturing can change quickly these days.
