RickyMcGrath
It's not listed on DeWalt.com yet. I can only find a short YouTube video that was filmed over seas. But this thing looks pretty sweet. http://www.acmetools.com/shop/tools/dewalt-dw03201
FrosBros82
Woah! First glance that thing looks intriguing! Other than the price tag, lol. FB82
RickyMcGrath
Woah! First glance that thing looks intriguing! Other than the price tag, lol. FB82I wanted to see if anyone would mention the price. For some reason, Home Depot has them listed at $249 right now. Every single site has them from $500-$900. I already ordered one from HD just because of the price variable. I looked at comparable units from other brands such as Bosch, and $500+ is pretty normal for a device with similar features, Distance (660') and a built in camera. My DeWalt (330') was $299 originally.

FrosBros82
Geez, that seems like a pretty good deal! Keep us posted, I'll be curious to hear your opinion of it. FB82
RickyMcGrath
It arrived yesterday, I've had the chance to play with it a little bit and the most important feature that can not be matched with common LDM's is the camera feature. The camera feature makes outdoor, daytime measuring a possibility at football field lengths. You wouldn't even attempt to use an LDM in outdoor full sun conditions.
RickyMcGrath
361' outdoor, full sun. Try that with a common LDM. You'd never see the laser dot.
