Jronman
Are the Ego snowblower and the mowers powered by one battery and switch to the second battery when the first runs out or are they in an "x2" like setup where power comes from both batteries? stefcl100
I did some research about battery-operated snow blowers a few months ago and found that answer on the Ego community forum: Quote Scott, yes both batteries are being drained simultaneously. Having two batteries to draw power from allows the snowblower to both operate at higher power as well as more time. It will run on one battery but with less power and shorter run time. The post does not come from an Ego representative but is tagged "official", so I guess somebody from EGO approved it. Jronman
Is the mower the same way?
DR99
The mower only runs off one battery pack. To be honest I have ran the snowblower with one battery and didn't notice a huge change in performance but did see longer run time. The one thing I hate about the snow blower is the scraper bar hits ever bump in your driveway and it wears out kinda quick.
