Jronman
There was a show in Australia that @dwain and @MikeOTT went to showing some new Makita stuff including xgt 40v stuff. The batteries are huge for a 21700 10 cell battery. Either they aren't very space efficient or they have some unknowns inside. There was an 18v torque sensitive fastening tool shown off. Thats what they called it. It is probably just a fancy name for torque wrench. There was a cordless pressure washer that seemed like it had its own tank you could draw water from instead of hooking up to a hose bibb. The Makita branded xlock stuff was in action. Guys were able to try out the new xgt rotary hammer. I also seen the recip, impact driver (221 NM of torque), impact wrench, and circular saw (with bluetooth) were there. I'm not sure if they were able to be tried out or not. The x2 blower now has a new gutter attachment that is intended so you can be on the ground and still blow out your gutters. New 4 bay 18v charger is coming.
ToolBane
Interesting if the 21700 batteries look big compared to other brands. They don’t look that big in pictures, but eh marketing. Given how fast they allegedly charge I would imagine ventilation could be a major reason.
Jronman
There also a picture of a 64v max battery going around. To me it looked like it has four row of 8 cells each inside.
