maxwonga
i have a makita dhr242 18 volt sds drill which stopped working properly. With fully charged battery, the chuck hesitates, sort of jutters a couple of mm. I see quite a few for sale spares or repair with the same problem, my question is had anyone repaired same drill? A switch is reasonable cheap but a stator is around £90 as the drills are now only about £150 not worth spending too much to repair If this problem happens a lot, is it worth buying a new one of the same model? Many thanks
Eric - TIA
We had one but gave it to a local contractor. Not sure if it was the same model number but it looks the same. So far no issues with his
