I had the same issue but mine would do that when it was too cold outside, not enough gas in the cartridge or when my battery finally died. Since your battery is good and if it's not cold outside, not sure what it is. Is your gas cartridge within the date on the bottom? I did try to use an old cartridge once and it wouldn't fire.
