Dave47
Hi, I'm thinking of purchasing the Dewalt DWE7492 110 volt table saw (1700 watts). My transformer is the dual outlet 16 amp. Though I am pretty sure that the saw will be ok, I just want to be sure that the saw does not require the higher 32 amp rated transformer leading to more expense. Hopefully someone here has this combination and be able to confirm that this is ok. Thanks
Eric - TIA
Not sure the correct answer. I have that saw. One side of my garage is hooked up to a 15 amp breaker and the other is a 20Amp breaker. I have used the saw on both side without any issue. I am sure if I run the saw enough and then start to really push the wood through the saw hard, i can get the breaker to pop. However if you use it like you should with always a sharp blade and let the saw do the work, you will be fine.
