PaulK
I have a Ryobi P271 who's chuck locked up with a bit in it. Only way I could get it our was to physically cut the rubber grip portion of chuck off and use a pair of channel locks. So now it works except I always need channel locks to use the chuck. I hate key less chucks for this reason and would like to replace it with a decent key type steel chuck. Problem is no where can I find info to tell me what the thread size is on any Ryobi drill? Must be a national security issue. 😗 Has anyone done this? Does anyone know what thread size this drill uses?
