walt Posted January 11, 2013 Report Share Posted January 11, 2013 Hi I am new here. I have a 18v cordless drill an older one. The battery is a DW9099. Can't find the charger for it. My wife bought me a charger for christmas that is a Lithium battery charger. It the lithium charger charge the older batteries or can I buy a new Lithium Battery for the older drill? filiptools Posted January 11, 2013 Report Share Posted January 11, 2013 Yes,you can use Li-Ion charger for old battery.Charger is DE 9135 and charges all Ni-Cd,NiMh and Li-Ion battery.You can also use Li-Ion battery's(DE 9180 and DE 9181) in the old tool.
