Anonymous
Hot off the charger the craftsman battery put out 22.02 volts, while the dewalt xrp only put out 21.07 volts. I think this is a pretty good indicator that the craftsman pack does have an extra sub c nicad cell in it.
frankiegarcia19
I have the ni cad 19.2 volts as well but my batteries said no mas...wont take a charge.. Thanx for checking the volts.. Do appear to have that extra "umf"
yamatitan
That doesnt mean much cells wont take as high of a charge as they age in my experience. So brand new it will be reading a higher voltage than after some use.

NicholasShetley
My nicad reads 25.2 fresh off the charger. It is worn out though. The lithium ones read about 20 to 20.5.

NicholasShetley
It is a craftsman c3. It is at the end of its useable life though. I haven't used it in a while since I have upgraded to the lithium batteries.
