WalterWhite
I have a year old DSC381 reciprocating saw which stopped working when i was cutting down an old shed, Battery was full and when pulling the trigger nothing would happen but if i jiggled the tool around it would start working for a little bit or work on very low speed. Anyone have any ideas? what i should look at or know what the problem is? should i open it and check or send it to a service store.
DR99
Sounds like a lose wire or contact in the switch. I wouldn't open it if its under warranty don't need to give them an excuse for denying service if you need it.
Frain20
could be anything from Thermal cut out protecting the battery, brushes, faulty trigger or loose connection..As above..if its under warranty let them sort it out..
