DamianD
Anybody have any experience in this? I read up that it is possible to lay 1inch pavers overtop an already existing concrete patio. This would save me a ton of time and money but im a little weary about how it will hold up over the years. One video i saw even does it to a driveway. What are your thoughts? DR99
I would be iffy about installing pavers like that anywhere where you get freezing and thawing. Like you mentioned the concern is how is it going to hold up long term.
ChrisK
That's really true and PA does get pretty cold. Maybe it'd be better to just break it up and do it from ground zero so to speak?
regopit
I have seen guys put it over sidewalks and patios and set it in thin set it still down and that was 15 years ago. they put down a bonding agent and set the pavers.
DamianD
Was talking it over with my cousin whos been doing hardscaping his whole life for a living. He was totally against the idea and told me he'd bring over some of his guys to help me rip it out for free.
