matt_b
Hi, this is a question for anyone with a dws520K. Is there an adjustment screw for fine tuning the 0 degree bevel stop, so you can reset the bevel angle back to a perfectly square cut? I'm asking because I'm in the process of returning a TS55REQ with dodgy 0deg squareness (& no adjustment screw on this new model), & I've seen other posts on forums about this issue, so am considering the dewalt instead. ChrisK
Wow that sucks. I've got the TS55REQ and absolutely love it. I unfortunately don't know a darn thing about the Dewalt though.
ChrisK
I've had mine since December too. Not a long time but that thing is straight as an arrow and square. Too bad maybe a faulty unit?
Mr. Yellow
The manual doesn't mention how to re-adjust the bevel to perfect squareness. However, the base has 2 little hex screws which allow you to make adjustments.I took this picture tonight of my DWS520. matt_b
Thanks for the photo mr yellow, good to know that the dewalt has this. I'm waiting for a reply from festool on my saw, but it seems that it's fixable & hopefully something i can do myself.
