Jason Lincoln
I really don't think that's the is case. The box and label on the saw both say 15 amp. It even has a unique part#
Jason Lincoln
All similar looking saws on the HD site have black painted bases this one appears to be aluminum. The nearest HD is 50mins from me so I have not stopped to look.

Jason Lincoln
any idea why its not listed on HD or RYOBI's site? or any site for that matter a Google search comes up with nothing.
Kato
Nope, no idea. And to be honest...I can't remember what I did to find it. Seems like what comes up is 14-amp saws and others, the 15-amp doesn't come up on any Google searches or on their site. Sometimes I have a knack for finding stuff, which is why a lot of my friends and family call me when they can't find something on the internet. It's a skill. Whether or not it's a good one or just simple insanity, I don't know.
Jason Lincoln
My dad bought it for my and insisted that it was a 14 amp because that is what he thought he got, I think the display was for a 14 amp. That's why I'm so confused...... I had to look twice to make sure I was reading 15amp then I noticed my saw and the 14 amp ones are visually different. Its defiantly a new model I would assume with no advertisement whatsoever.
