Poisonfangs85
Hey guys,I installed about 1200 sqft of click-lock bamboo in my house last fall. I have several spots that have gaps that need to be drawn in. I know that floor straps are traditionally used for glued T&G floors. Has anyone used them to draw in click-lock with any success? regopit
Do you think that the gaps will close as the weather changes or are the gaps that big that they will not close.
Poisonfangs85
They are too big. It is incredible how much that it shrunk. Where I have already out on base and shoe it has crept out from underneath the shoe by over 1/4" in spots. They were acclimated for over a month. Poisonfangs85
Here are the pics. This is about average for the shrinkage under the shoe.

Poisonfangs85
It is laid over an exsisting hardwood floor + an underlayment pad.
