Can you simply remove one and replace it with one from a different model? If you read my other post you'll know we're I'm going with this question. NERemodeling Posted May 26, 2015 Report Share Posted May 26, 2015 I don't think they are fully universal but I could be wrong. I don't think a 3/8 drill will fit a 1/2 chuck. Maybe go to Jacobs drill chucks website and see if they list the compatibility of their chucks.. if the two you want to swap are on the same list for one of their chucks then it should probably work Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
