The scary thing is HydroFlouric acid will eat through glass, but plastic is perfectly fine to store it in. I'm sure that is kind of a specialized part of plumbing though. I can't imagine many plumbers work in a a science lab.

Honestly everything is the same as far as how the fixtures are hooked up the only variables that change are type of pipe you use and all of the waste from the lab goes through a neutralizing tank which is basically a tank full of lime chips to bring the ph level down then it all goes to the main sewer. Another thing is when a science lab is being built the plumber has the most work out of all the mechanical contractors. You wouldn't believe the amount of piping that go into them
