Santi_78342
So how exactly does one make a warranty claim? I would like to have my Gen 1 Fuel Hammer Drill/Driver looked at because it makes a nasty sound when I realease the trigger.
khariV
Are you sure that's not the electronic brake? It can sound a but abrupt if you're not used to it. If you need to warranty your tool, you will have to contact Milwaukee directly. I've called them using the old fashioned telephone device but I hear telling that you could message them on Facebook or perhaps the Twitters or maybe even directly through their website. I can tell you that you will do well to have a receipt from an authorized dealer to validate the warranty period. If you do not, the warranty period starts from the date of manufacture, which is built into the serial number of of your drill. Either way, once they validate your claim, they will send you a prepaid shipping label to return the tool to them for repair or, more likely, replacement. KnarlyCarl
This is what I use and it's pretty simple, just follow the instructions and if it's within warranty period, you get a prepaid shipping labelhttps://www.milwaukeetool.com/eserviceSent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
ChrisK
Exactly so Santi. They are real quick to get you the postage and the tool back or replaced.
