Most warrantys are not any good any way. They'll weasel ther way out of it Or you'll pay more in shipping than the tools worth for the warranty.

Millerz

Milwaukee= pre paid two way shipping, fast turnaround and mostly no questions asked (unless you've done something stupid) for five years. It makes Bosch's one year warranty look pitiful.

Ok,sorry for late reply. Makita is good no doubt about that. Most folks are partial to certain lineups which makes sense. I have porter cable and  bosch for my cordless currently.

I need

mitersaw -  Hitachi,Dewalt or Bosch depends really,id go for a slider myself .

Table saw -  Ive heard the Dewalt ones are nice

Compressor - Rolair

Compact router - Dewalt or Bosch

Oscillating tool ( probably getting rigid jobmax)  Fein

Laser - Dewalt or Bosch

Palm sander - bosch

Rotary hammer - Bosch

^^ what id probably go with if i was needing those items.  Im not a carpenter or contractor guy so your may go with different lines.

Go with the basics first,ie most essential tools. You can always upgrade one day,we all do at some point.
