rrich1
I was thinking of picking up this impact. From what I have found it would be able to take the lugs off of my F150 and my wifes escape. I have an air compressor and impact but sometimes it would be nice to not have to use it. Anyone have it and thoughts on it? http://www.homedepot.com/p/Makita-18-Volt-LXT-Lithium-Ion-Brushless-3-Speed-1-2-in-Cordless-Impact-Wrench-Tool-Only-XWT02Z/205577352
kornomaniac
Ive sold heaps and heaps of them. Very good unit ! If your wheels havent been rusting for years and years then it can take em off no problem
DR99
Makita has a high torque brushless impact wrench coming out soon. If you think you will need the torque over the size its a consideration you might want to make.
M80
I have it. I think its great. The thing is a little beast.
JimboS1ice
Seems like a good impact, for a little more you could grab a high impact though.JimboSent from my iPad using Tapatalk
rrich1
Thanks guys. I had heard about a new impact coming out but haven't seen anything on it. I do like the small size of it though. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
Andrull
Have used it for a coule of months. Great unit. Can recommend. The new high torque impact wrench from Makita will be a good addition to this unit, but will probably not see the same usage. No need to bring out the big boy until you actually need that kind of power. Better to have this light and compact unit for normal use. BK13
I have the M18 Fuel 3/8" version of that, similar stats. I have no problem getting the lugs off of my Expedition, my CJ7, or my F150 when I had it. But then neither does my M12.... On note: I'm pretty anal-retentive about keeping brake dust off the back of my wheels, so they get removed pretty frequently, and the lug threads get lubed fairly frequently. I torque my lugs to 115 ft-lbs.
