I wouldn't be surprised if you lay that across the end of a piece of round pipe, and it gives you the circumference to cut insulation to size to wrap around it. jeffmcmillan Posted June 5, 2016 Report Share Posted June 5, 2016 The right side is gives pi*inches so you can put that across the end of a pipe and the measurement it gives in the circumference instead of the diameter. Saves a lot of guesstiplying by 3ish if you need to cut insulation or anything to wrap pipes.
