beantowner2
My DeWalt orbital sander throws sawdust everyplace instead of sucking it into the bag. Also lots of sawdust stays in the holes and falls out after I turn the sander off. The holes in the sand paper line up perfectly, and I empty the bag often. Altho the bag never has much sawdust in it. Why does this happen?
ToolBane
Probably somewhere in the channeling is either prone to getting plugged up or just doesn’t flow well
JakeDewalt
Using a dust extractor will yield better results. The sander doesn’t create suction to draw the dust into the bag. The bag would probably work best overhead when you don’t want to hold the added weight of the hose and gravity will help the dust to fall into the bag
Big Adam
Sounds like you’ve got a sawdust blockage within the tool. Try blowing/sucking it through. I have two of these and use both with the bags which I constantly have to empty!!
