redcappra
I just picked up a second hand cheap Black and Decker Work Wheel. It works but I fiugure the sanding material is caput, finished. I looked around the internet and it looks like the Work Wheel is also caput finished. Can anyone confirm? Also looks like a replacement flap wheel is caput, finished, unavailable as well. Can anyone confirm? If all that is true, as I suss, is there an alternative or a bodggy fix? I tried to take off the flap wheel but have not succeeded. Looks like there is a specialised peg to insert to stop the wheel turning as you undo the centre retaining nut but I can't seem to get the peg/key to engage completely so as to stop the wheel from turning. What am I doing wrong or is this just a case of 'bin it and chalk it up to experience'? Ciao Graeme.
Kenny Creeden
You should try a machinists peg, and if that doesn't work, try other things like thin screwdrivers and such, just try not to mess up the shaft! -Kyle
