The M18 jig saw is the biggest disappointment for me. I picked one up recently as I wanted a cordless jig saw for convenience. That thing needs a serious updating.

I kept the box, so I may return it.

It's funny they have a nice barrel grip but they never brought it over to the USA. I think Makita did they same thing they have a barrel grip that's brushless but they never brought it to the USA but its sold in canada.

  2. With Ryobi pushing out more premium but well priced brushless tools they are definitely looking more prosumer than for the DIY person. I had early lithium Ryobi tools before Milwaukee and they did the job but the designs or performance were not optimal.

  3. I have a Fein super cut Fein AFSC 18 Cordless SuperCut Oscillating Tool and Fein ASCM 18 QX 18 drill

Ill take 299 for the supercut and 169 for the drill if you want all 3 we can do a bundle price. Your responsible for shipping costs though

Also have a Metabo SB18BL Quick with 2 6.2 ah batteries and charger Ill do 299 or best offer on this drill. Get some quality german tools quick!!

Sorry that I haven't been around much life has been a little crazy lately

  4. I guess the Chicago Electric and Drillmaster brands are pretty much tainted for life? Its crazy though someone posted an old HF ad where they sold real name brand tools before it became all private label made in China stuff

The Fuel guns use a sealed nitrogen canister, to the best of my knowledge. Not a replaceable gas canister like Paslode, maybe thats where the confusion is coming from, but they sure as hell aren't flywheel tech like Dewalt's.

You can defiantly feel a flywheel gun

I can't speak for the traditional cordless tools, however, I have heard that their miter saw and table saw have not sold that well... which slightly makes sense to me because those tools are not your typical tools that move all over... unlike a grinder, recip saw, drill, etc. I saw a live demo on the table saw and I thought it was pretty nice to be honest, plus the miter saw is pretty cutting edge in my opinion ( no pun intended?).

The idea of those tools being cordless is nice but most of the time bigger tools are set up as a cut station with AC power anyways or a generation is being used in the first place. It's cool but in reality its a narrow market I can see some of these tools being nice for re modelers because of space and access
