How's the latch work. I tried it at HD and it opened so easily. Just curious of it opens too easily.

I've heard the same thing Mike. I tried a local place in Maine and they never gave me my Panasonic battery back! I figured local.... Anyways, I've had luck on eBay too, cheap enough and some of these guys are even replacing the NiCad or NiMH with Lithium packs. Of course you need the correct charger.

I have a pair of Danner winter boots for work. They are really solid and the toe lace is a nice feature. I've got the non steel toe ones.

Off topic from the last ones is like to second woodstockva's comments about sticking to a line. It allows you to buy a single kit then expand your tool line without having to spend money on extra batteries.

I saw that deal today too. That is an AWESOME price for those tools and batteries and buying recon from CPO has never burnt me.

I am not interested in switching back Krane but boy oh boy I'd love to give that thing a try. It really looks like a power house.
