  1. The bodywork takes a lot of time. It took him a good two years to get it to where it was before we primed it. Also over the years I have realized how much construction and automotive work have in common. There is wiring, plumbing (fuel, brakes, ect.) and more (that is all I can think of now).

  2. The bare tool I would pick would be the sawzall because there have been times when we need one (we don't have a sawzall) and the only thing we have to cut wood with is a chainsaw. I would pick a cordless one because of the portability but I wouldn't need one bad enough I would pay 130 for. I would like to switch to milwaukee because of the new fuel tools (mainly impact wrenches) because I hate having to drag a hose all over the shop for small tasks.

  3. I am but it is still a good ways off. I still needs the firewall and frame painted, the interior, engine and transmission, and the front and rear end need work done on both but that won't take too long, and we still need to put the tonneau cover on the bed. My dad and I are going to rebuild the engine and transmission (turbo 400, for those who don't know what that is it is a gm 3 speed auto used in their trucks and bigger cars.) I bet we will have it done by prom (late April I think). Last year I drove his 64 Corvette to prom and we had a few issues with it but we got it done one hour before it started. That was the first time it had been driven since the previous October so a few hiccups were expected.
