He had heard that it was but we weren't sure.
-
Yes it does. We were surprised how forgiving the flat black was as well, it didn't show a single sanding mark.
-
I would be interested in one for the right price.

He used the etching primer, then the color matching primer, and paint, ect.
-
He did everything himself though. He was a body man out of high school for a while. He put about 10 coats of clear on it.
-
That isn't bad at all.

I think it should look good. This is one of those projects that you don't want to cheap out on. Do it once and do it right.

He got the absolute best of the best paint DuPont had. The dents aren't too bad to deal with, just hammer it somewhat smooth and put bondo on it then sand it smooth. I have always sanded in an x pattern, it keeps the surface from getting wavy.

It was 1800 for just the paint for my grandpas corvette back in 2000

Is that just labor? That is way too cheap.

What color were you going to paint it?

I wouldn't get your hopes up on the end of January thing because it takes a good while to do all of it. If it is a rust free truck it could be done but I would say by the end of February since it is just you and since you have school and such. The paint brand I would go with would be DuPont. Yes it is expensive but it will be worth it in the end. It will last 20+ years if you take care of it. I would definitely price the paint before you get started. I'm not trying to talk you out of it, I'm just saying it is more time consuming than most people think.

This was the first one. I don't mind it if there is just a couple inches which is what we usually get but after that is is just a hassle.

It gets really old really quick.

We didn't get much done on it today because we had to get a transfer case for his truck. We got back around 1:30. We are finally having school after the big snowstorm. It is supposed to be around 50 all this week.

His hand got incredibly close to the blade!

I liked it too. The grip appeared the same on the new m12 impact to me. I like the grip on the m18 fuel tools as well.

Torx and Allen headed screws are common on cars nowadays

It is still on sale. My mom said that my grandpa didn't need a new one. I still think that he would have appreciated it seeing that his only drill is a huge craftsman cordless drill. I wound up buying me an 11 amp milwaukee angle grinder and a few of the diablo flap wheels.

Once a Phillips cams out once it is done. May as well get a new screw.
-
I have bought many high end tools on eBay. I always make sure the seller has a very high rating.
-
Even my c3 tools have overload, although it is built into the lithium batteries.
-
Never thought of that. Let's spam milwaukee and see if they will lol.

I thought someone would get a kick out of that
