Good one Chris!
-
It took us two days. For it being 85 or so years old it wasn't too bad.

How much painting will you be doing? That requires a lot of cfm. The rest can be supported with a decent 20 gallon compressor.
-
It was too good to pass up. It works perfectly. It does 1700 spm in low and 2400 in high. The diagram is in good shape as well. It is at least 30 years old.

Was Al Gore wrong or what lol.

One of my friends has a Bosch hammer drill. He said it plows through concrete effortlessly and can drill monster holes in metal (3/4+). He loves it and has never had a problem with it. His is the previous version of this. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B003O6QBFU

We finally put the doors on and the latches, handles, and trim. The passenger door fit perfect but the driver side door was all out of whack. My grandpa said that it had fell onto one of the corners so that is what caused it. The latch was too big as well so we had to grind it down (could have used the AC Delco grinder there, thanks again guys). Then where it latches was too low so we had to make a spacer for it. After that it finally fit. I will take pictures Monday because with a minimum of 8 inches of snow school will most likely be cancelled.

That would be very nice. I didn't know how big the compressor would be. That was a great deal as well. For that price the hackzall was basically free.

Santa came late because he went broke with all of that lol. Let us know what you think of them.

Here is my latest purchase. I bought it at a yard sale for five bucks. It runs just like a new one and still has many more cuts to make. The only downside is it doesn't have a keyless blade change on it. I cut through some half inch steel with if and it powered through no problem. It is also a two speed but not variable speed. We have a fencing project coming up in the spring and I am sure it will get used some then.

We are supposed to get around the same amount in the same time period here dr99. Our driveway is too big to use a shovel or snowblower so we use our tractor with a blade on it. It works fairly good except it is too light on the front end so you can't plow much or you will go sideways. This time we shouldn't have any ice here but it will be the coldest I have ever seen here (single digits and very windy).

If it was possible I would build a closet type room for the compressor if it is a big one because they are extremely loud.

The high here for Monday is 5. The low for that morning is negative 6.

That is the same one I recieved for Christmas. It has the perfect weight, plenty of power, and zero vibration with a quality wheel. You can tell the quality of it by moving the wheel with the grinder off, there is very little play in the gears. It also stays fairly cool.

I feel that tools like snap on or festool are like status symbols, there are ones that are just as good for far cheaper. I feel that for some tools you also pay for the brand name as well.
-
It gets 24. My grandpa has the nicad one for over 5 years and it is still going strong.
-
Lol the only accessories they have here are screwdriver bits. They did have recriprocating saw blades and spade bits but that was it. They only have the cordless drills and impacts and a recriprocating saw for tools here and the radios.

Hey dr99 gear wrench has a 20 piece inch and metric ratcheting wrench set on sale for 99 from time to time.
-
I think cpo milwaukee was having a deal where if you buy the 25 foot tape you get the milwaukee multi bit screwdriver. I don't know of it is still going on.
-
I have heard that the LSA is hit or miss. Personally I would go with milwaukee

Thanks guys, Dan, Eric and AC Delco. This will be super handy because most of the time I only use my air die grinders for a few miniutes at a time and there is no hose to get in the way. This will be perfect for working on the truck. I will try to write a review on it if I remember. Thanks again guys.

They work great in tight spaces but the boxed end is much thicker so keep that in mind
-
I do conductor. I need to finish out my metric wrenches and get more metric sockets.
-
New m18 fuel impact wrenches (compact and fullsize) and the drill. I will probably get more metric sockets. My hat should get me through the first few months of tech school but I don't know for sure what I will need there.
