With the extension cord you could make the cord much longer. It really depends on what you want to do as any will work fine.

Did you ever do a video on your milwaukee grinder you got?
-
I received a Milwaukee 6146 angle grinder and a few diablo flap discs. That was all I got that was tool related. I received cash as well so I might need to add on to my collection if tools.

12 gauge wire would be ideal for a high amp draw tool like a circular saw. You could use an old extension cord.
-
That is funny. Does it come with instructions lol. It should have a rubber band and a price of string to be complete.

Here is what the cab looks like with the insulation installed. We didn't have it glued in at this point. I didn't take any pictures of the firewall today because it was still taped up and the cab was covered up. I'm sure that painting cars is way different than bricks.

Today we painted the firewall. I will try to have pictures up later.

On toolguyd they said makita has a new 12 volt right angle drill. It doesn't look like anything special to me. http://toolguyd.com/makita-12v-right-angle-drill/

I have seen them on a carberautor to adjust the idle on. That is the only one I have ever seen.

The cutters last way longer than a grinding wheel as well, provided you don't burn it up. I did not think about hitting copper either.

Try one of these for engraving your own design. http://www.dremel.com/en-US/Accessories/Pages/SubCategories.aspx?catid=2072 I have one of them and it works great for grinding metal. I would use a cylindrical grinding stone to grind the nickels. Hope this helps. They should sell the cutters at lowes, that is where I got mine.

I saw my first torx machine screw yesterday. It was in the transfer case for my grandpas 04 silverado. I have seen torx wood screws before but we haven't used any since we have a bunch of Phillips screws.

Well said Chris, well said. Merry Christmas everyone and a happy new year.

Hope things get better.

It would be twice as tall trying to adapt 18 volt packs to 20v tools since the 18 volt batteries are stem packs. It shouldn't be too hard the other way around, it would basically extend the connectors I think.
-
What will you be using them for?
-
I like their spade bits and jigsaw blades. I have heard that their grinders are excellent as well.
-
Is the charger under warranty? Take it back to the store and ask them if you can try it with another battery.
-
Describes it perfectly.

No matter what it will never be big enough

I like the bosch daredevil ones.
-
I have some of those too. They are very good. I have drilled into spring steel with them

Today we cut the aluminum insulation stuff to fit in the cab. It fit excellently in all of the cab. I didn't take any pictures today or I would post them.
