  1. Good choice with the Bosch! I've been using it alot lately, and I think it was well worth the $375 I paid for it. For the money you paid for the Hilti, and it only drill alittle faster then the Dewalt I think you made a good call returning it. I want to make a review video of the Bosch your going to buy, but I don't want to turn my driveway in to Swiss cheese. If you got any questions about the Bosch just ask!
  2. I think my 4.0 batteries take about an hour, so a quick charger would be real nice!
  3. I really like the my 12v Impact. but there is a delay sometime when you pull the trigger. I got in to Bosch, because of there Powerbox radio, but I REALLY like my cordless Roto Hammer,
  4. I think Bosch previewed 5.0 batteries at the World of Concrete this year. I had a status update from toolbocbuzz.com on the 21st say,"5.0 batteries coming this Spring from Bosch Tools!!!" I''ve been looking through the internet to find pics or video, but haven't find anything.
  5. I saw that that! I guess there reveal some new stuff this year too
  6. I think the Hilti would do better with a bigger, longer bit, but I'm still pretty surprised with how close they were. I'm wondering what is coming out at the World of Concrete going on right now!
  7. From watching the video it looked like the Dewalt was alittle faster drilling 21 holes in about 1:45 and I the Hilti was about a 1:46 maybe minute 1:47. That is surprising that they were that even.
  8. The 36v Bosch is pretty sweet! The company I work for has one and the thing is pretty smooth in concrete. I'm invested in Bosch so that was one reason I got it, but all the reviews said it was a pretty good all around performer.
  9. I have this one: http://www.boschtools.com/Products/Tools/Pages/BoschProductDetail.aspx?pid=rhh181-01
  10. Once you do your test on your drills I would like to also do a test with my Bosch to see how they compare with these two drills. They just look some much bigger then my drill! I think these drills just eat through cinder block so I think poured concrete would be the best test.
  11. I'm surprised the Bosch did so well given it's almost four years old.
  12. Nice! Hope that works good for you!
  13. I saw the review, but I didn't look at the price! I bet that thing is a beast, but WAY to much for me! I guess if money wasn't an option I would totally go for it, but that is just crazy.
  14. If money wasn't a option i would get eveything Hilti, but It's just that price tag for the Hilti is the BIG draw back for me. I would say call a Hilti rep and ask if they would give you a demo or see if you can try one out just to get your hands on it. It's just tough choice, because cordless roto hammers cost ALOT!
  15. It helped me out when picking my Bosch, and it looked like it sparked this topic! Also another good thing about the Bosch is it's made in Germany so I feel the quality would be better, but I've only owned it for a couple of weeks and drilled a couple of holes. I've used the 36v Bosch and it made easy work of 1/2" holes and it used like one bar on it's battery gauge. It was very smooth and I didn't have to put to much effort in to it. I drilled about 28 to 32 holes on a hot summer day in Wisconsin and had no problem. http://www.boschtools.com/Products/Tools/Pages/BoschProductDetail.aspx?pid=11536VSR I've used the 18v Milwaukee Hammer drill to and really like it! The problem with Hilti is there soooooooooooo expensive ,but with a lifetime warranty that's not bad. I think Hilti guys will come out to your job site to if you have a problem.
  16. I have the Bosch RHH181-01, but I haven't used it to make a good judgement on it. All the reviews and research that I did(which took a couple of months) said it's a great drill. From the couple of sites I looked at it's saying a impact energy of 1.25 ft.lbs that I found. All I've done for now is drill a couple of 3/16" and 1/4" holes in to cinder block in my basement. Protoolreview.com did a comparison on different cordless roto hammers and it gave a lot of good information that I took from it.
