I'v had my Bosch Powerbox for just about 3 years now and I LOVE IT! The sound is great, a bunch of imputs, 4 outlets on the side, and you can easily hear all over the job site! The only downside for you is you don't have Bosch batteries so you would have to plug it in all the time. I would say the only con of the radio is with a battery it close to 25 pounds to carry, but all and all, it a great radio to have at the job site and at home

I want to get my hands on the 12v brushless impact driver! I would be curious to take a look at a new radio, but the Powerbox still has some of the best features out there!

I have the Bosch drill you reviewed, and for everything I need to do it works great (electrician)! I believe the 3/4 rating you were talking about is for poured concrete. I couldn't find what size hole you can do for block, but it really doesn't have a problem with holes bigger then 3/4. Another function that comes in really handy is the chipping function. Your not going to tear up floors with it, but for the small jobs it does a really solid job. Great Review!

I got fastback about six or seven months ago, and thought it was pretty cool. Then after about seven months it just fell apart. The blade easily slips out when when your trying to strip wire, and now with a screw missing the frame is really loose. I put my fastback in retirement and bought myself a nice Lenox utility knife for about the same price. It feels solid and the blade doesn't slip out when it's in the extended position. Just wanted to put in dy two cents.

I own the RHH181 with the two 4.0 batteries, and I love it! I've owned it for about five months, and use it a couple days a week for hours at a time. I'm an electrician so I need to mount boxes and conduit on concrete and it never overheats or cuts off after drilling for hours. I use it mostly for 3/16" or 1/4" holes, but have used for bigger holes. It's light weight for easy overhead use, and the chipping function works great for small projects.

Hey Electrical Apprentice here too! I really think the only drill bit you need is a 1/4" drill bit to use for pilot holes for hole saws and j-boxes that don't have holes pre-drilled for screws. I would invest in a good holes saw kit, I have a lenox hole saw kit and they really hold up and stay sharp

You really can't go wrong with any of the combo kits! Are you in a trade? If you are I would go with the Milwaukee kit, because the Milwaukee drill has a metal chuck compared to a plastic one. Over time in my opinion, the plastic part of the chuck will wear down or break from dropping it. I would think Bosch would release a brushless version of there HDH181 Brute Tough Hammer Drill/Driver in the coming year, but it seem like you don't have time to wait. You should be fine using your Power Box! I take it out of my trunk when it's in the negative temps here, and it fires right up. I thought it goes down to -4 is what I thought. I don't think you should have a problem.

It seems like Milwaukee isn't huge in masonry like Bosch is, but everything seem to be going brushless. It's just matter of time before it comes out.

They have a 12v fuel, but not really the same class as the Bosch and Dewalt. I could see it in development to be released later this year.

Great review! The Bosch just ate through that concrete with the 1/2" bit! Did you get to look back at how fast the Bosch was compared to the Dewalt and Hilti? I think a great tool fight would be the Bosch vs a fuel Milwaukee Rotary Hammer.

I have the same impact, and I love it! The play isn't a big deal, and your going to be VERY happy with it

I keep Bosch in the bag for now, but I would like to buy the L-Boxx down the road. I don't want put my Bosch in my power tool bag, because it would just my it super heavy.

Good choice! It comes with those gay tool purses, but you can always buy a l-boxx. I always thought the 180 had a brushed motor, but I looked it up and it's brushless. Looking foward to the match-up between the Bosch and the Dewalt!

I bought the Bosch multi-tool blades the only thing that sucks is they cost alittle bit. I haven't had any problem with my 12v multi-tool or blades, and they seem pretty durable.
