Hi ..... about to be released / available : 20V max (18V Europe) Hedge Trimmer a) USA Model number: Model # DCHT820B // $129 bare tool seen on the home depot site http://www.homedepot.com/p/DEWALT-20-Volt-Max-Lithium-Ion-Cordless-Hedge-Trimmer-DCHT820B/206596787 and here is the surprise ; also to be released in Europe (soon) background: Q1 2016 flyers are in the process of beeing released on the internet on the appropriate Dewalt sites I check everyday and was caught be surprise that in the Q1 flyer / brochure from the Spain site the hedge trimmer is also shown ! really caught me by surprise !! model number in Europe DCM563 price for DCM563P1 (1x 5,0Ah + charger) = 290 €uro ((they also have some air tools / nailers & compressors) listed)) as I continue to check other European sites I will keed you posted !!! cheers mike

the lasers should be 12 max you must have a type; recheck !

meanwhile you can by the adaptor and the 18V gun of course does not make sense from investment point of view if the 20v max gun only has several weeks/ fewmonths release date my unofficial sources however say will take till mid 2016 so buying the two item now makes sense mike

Tool lenght (taken from the web site specs) but I re checked dfc886= Tool Length 5.55" dcf887 = Tool Length 5.3" so it is ,2" (inches) so approx. 5,08 mm (not 2mm) -

Hi topic says it all ! I have a cordless dewalt joiner DW932 (almost new, seldom used) with housing for 18v stem batteries I was wondering if I can convert the tool to a XR battery housing ? e.g. using the housing of a dcg412 grinder I think this was done before, but I lost track/ never followed up; Any EXPERIANCE / tips or tricks This would be a great tool , as Dewalt does not make this thx for help & hints
