  1. Agreed, chargers in general are cheap, buying a new one is the best you can do.
  2. Yes, never thought someone would make a small hand tool for this specific purpose!
  3. When it comes to wood drill bits Japanese can be better than Germans, the problem with Japanese tools and accessories is that they are not easily available in Western market.
  4. I think tools in general are sold for much lower price in US, Lowes, Hope Depot and toolnut do not open in UK anymore. I was checking them a few years ago. Before I could also see DeWALT US Facebook page but not anymore, Why should I not be able to see DeWALT US Facebook page? That is the question. CAS does not have a specific US website but I know DeWALT US has a Facebook page. I don't understand why a big brand like Rothenberger should not have a presence in US market. It gives me the feeling that the monopoly of plumbing tools in US has been given to some other brands and the new ones are not welcomed! How about the other brands in CAS and AmpShare? Gesipa cordless rivet tools are known in the US?! Scangrip lights? They have the most durable lights in my opinion.
  5. I do not like Impact drivers just because they are too noisy but they are useful when you want to unscrew partially oxidised screws, plus when you are a bit tired you don't care too much when to let go of the trigger. I am on the side of the standardisation of tool names. These names are used widely as most of the tool users do not have any training for the tool they use, unfortunately. I would expect the tool brands having videos of their tools on YouTube explaining it properly instead of putting a useless user manual printed in 30-40 languages!
  6. Good point! I remember I was watching a Turkish video on YouTube and a lady called a demolition hammer "Hilti" This is mostly because that brand was the first introducer of that specific tool to that country. Even in UK when you search online it can be called in different ways such as concrete breaker, breaker, demolition hammer, demolition breaker, and the tool industry does not have a common ground how to name it and interestingly in UK among the construction workers it is called "Kango" and it makes me think that it was probably the first brand to introduce this type of tool to UK market. I can give another example, as I am originally Turkish from Iran (we speak a different dialect of Turkish which I call it Cockney Turkish looool) (Cockney is an English accent in UK which Londoners treat it as less developed accent of English), in Iran all ethnic groups call adjustable wrench as "French wrench" and as much as I have understood from Turkish videos they call it "English wrench" Persians call the Mitersaw as "Persian cutter/saw" and I always make fun of them, it is like they have invented this tool for the first time and introduced it to the West, oh come on! loool for me it is enough to call it Turkish saw to piss them off! I can also give you examples not related to tools, in Iran jeans are called Lee trousers as again Lee was the first brand of jeans introduced to Iran, and it is a bit weird to say Levis jeans as you gonna call it levis Lee trousers. The Turks from Turkey call it Kot trousers (I think Kot is the Turkified and shortened version of cotton) and I wonder how they are going to call jeans that are less than 50% cotton?!!! Another funny example is the bird "Turkey". As much as I remember the origin of this bird is Mexico, it was introduced by the Portuguese to India first and then from India to Turkey and Russia and these two countries call this bird "Indian" (Hindi in Turkish and Hindushka in Russian) then this Indian? was introduced to Europe and US accordingly by the Turks and they called it "Turkey" and I don't understand why this bird had to travel from your neighbouring country Mexico all around the world from Mexico to India then to Turkey and then to you and why not directly to US?! Probably it would be called "Mexico" now loool
  7. It looks similar to the Knipex one, the main difference is that this one is chrome plated.
  8. There is another longer one " Japan Edition"
  9. I love their chrome plate tools more. Reca is another brand which is in green.
  10. It seems very rarely you can find Knipex cobra in different colours.
  11. A Japanese made level, I have never seen a level with dark colour liquid! Normally they are bright yellow...
