  1. My guess is it'll prob be at least a year of deliberations before we get any more public statements
  2. Just checked that out, got some good prices on things. Hopefully I'll remember it next time I need blades
  3. Do what you gotta do man. You can replace tools, can't replace the fam.
  4. Damn Bothuhead, bringing on the feels. Hope everything works out for you and your family!
  5. Nice, its like something Adam savage would make on his show
  6. No clue here, i tried to look through the dewalt Manuels and part numbers. no luck for me
  7. I half-looked at the dewalt one a while ago. I found better cost/performance alternatives to be the Ryobi ones like the RY141900 (2000 psi model) or the RY14122 (1700 psi model). I ended up not buying anything and just borrowing, i also dont need it for professional use.
  8. Welcome Mk, nice Milwaukee set.
  9. I have a Dremel one i got in a 3 tool bundle. It doesn't have quick change on my model, which is pretty annoying. I would at least narrow your choices down to ones that do! Mine is also corded, and the cord is like 3-4 feet, so that is also annoying. But its got power to handle most everything i needed it too. Accessories are expensive, especially sand paper. I always hit up Menards when they have their cheapest brand on sale.
  10. thats pretty much my feelings
  11. damn what kind of blades were those
  12. I guess it was an HBO series called The Wire
  13. I got a free Surge t-shirt from a soda machine once
  14. Warning, may contain strong language. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-N_UuImPL4E I don't think he doing any construction....
  15. Looks cool. Glad they didn't do the chauffeured edges like empire does.
  16. its a tough choice; but since my HD didnt even carry the dewalt and im being cheap right now, i went with the rigid
  17. mine came with the compact lithium one shown in YiKKit's. i think its supposed to be the 1.5 ah model. though my math says its really 1.3333ah (using the 24wh listed on back). Here's my testing i did with 2" nails in the 2x4. According to my little steel rule the nails sticking out are 3/32" out from the surface, which is on lowest power. The ones sunk in were on highest. I use Grip Rite brand nails, I like them because they come in a hard plastic case instead of a cardboard box, and in the future I can just refill it with the cardboard ones.
  18. Poor little multi tool. Hope you get the replacement soon!
  19. Nice Toronto, framing has always been interesting to me
  20. Nice job, looks pretty comfy
  21. 11am-8pm Tues-Friday. 2:30-10pm Saturday
  22. I also have it when it was on a HD deal, I like mine so far. I've only driven like 100 nails so far. Idk if I'm doing everything right with it but sometimes it's almost to strong. The difference between having it powered all the way up and all the way down is about 1/8 of an inch through a 2x4 I was testing on. I tried to use it just to tack a cloth up once and it would just shoot through the fabric and sink pretty far into the osb I was using. That being said, I would totally buy one of the other nailers, or staplers from ryobi! I can send pic of my test when I get home if it helps
